5Star Movers Social Distancing Guidelines

As a registered motor carrier, our moving company is an “Essential Business” as defined in the recent local government orders. Our employees/contractors are considered “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce”, consistent with the guidelines of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s CISA agency. Due to current public health orders in effect to combat the COVID-19 virus, our company is currently following these guidelines to protect the safety of all of our customers, employees, and contractors. 

 

1, No gatherings of ten (10) or more people in a group.

2. All persons must, at all times when reasonably possible, maintain social distancing of at least six (6) feet from any other person. 

 

3, For the safety of everyone, we respectfully request that all customers who feel sick or who currently have a fever, or reside in a household with someone who has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus to cancel services. 

 

4, Our company prohibits anyone from coming to work if he or she is currently 

• Feeling sick

• Has a fever or

• Resides in a household where another resident of the household has tested positive for COVID-19. 

Anyone who meets any of the above criteria is instructed to phone their doctor or local health care facility for professional medical guidance. 

 

5. We have instructed our employees/contractors to utilize gloves (when available, due to shortage), hand sanitizer (located in our vehicles), wash hands and disinfect vehicle(s) before/after every customer serviced.

6. We encourage customers to postpone services at a later time if possible.
